Mi Pueblo in Winslow

We first called because me and my co-worker know about some restrictions due to covid -19, the first time they answered it was a really rude lady, I asked if they had dine inn available and she hung up the phone, we decided to stop anyway when we approached the door there was a sign that said do not enter so we noticed the number next to it and called she came out and said "if you're trying to call Im on the phone!" immediately turn around and head inside with out offering any service, worst experience would not be stopping there even if its the only choice.

Service is awesome! The red chili is best in Winslow, home made salsa has some heat and lots of flavor. Family ran restaurant, definitely best Mexican food in Winslow. Cold beer, domestic and imported. Only issue is air conditioning is about non existent. My thermometer AP says 86 in the restaurant right now. Until it is repaired, will not be back.

Great food at a fare price!

Food is outstanding and will be back for the Floco tacos. The red hot sauce is perfect.

This was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect much but we were pulling a large RV and this was the only restaurant within walking distance from the hotel. The Mexican food was delicious and very spicy. Everything served was spicier than most other Mexican restaurants.

Happy to find this semi- friendly restaurant while traveling with my family in a semi. It says they are open till 8:30. Arrived at 7:50 to find a sign that there is no dine in and they are closing early at 8. Went to order take out, they closed the curtains and turned the open sign off when they saw our family of four walking up. That's pretty low. Even if they are going to shorten hours, stay open the hours posted on your door.

Cherry on top was Arroz con Leche as desert.very good food

This place is legit mexican food! You could put this joint anywhere and it would do well. What a treasure! I had the Flaco's Tacos. Wife had an enchilada and a taco. Everything was great!

Very friendly. Food is great and authentic. Service was very exceptional. I prefer coming to places like this simply because this type of service you can not always get from a 5 star restaurant. I recommend this place.

They were super friendly and authentic. It appears to be run by a local Hispanic family. It was delicious!

Nothing good about it. Only one waitress. Didnt get what I ordered. Had to wait 10 minutes for a water refill. Food was horrible. One group walked in and there were more tables open than not, the employee told them that it would be an hour wait...they said that they would wait, the employee rolled her eyes. Then they put the closed sign up thirty minutes before closing time. Will never go there again.

I have mixed feelings. Since this restaurant usually has good ratings, I was hoping it would be great. I think maybe they were having a bad night. Maybe it's normally better? There was only ONE waitress working, I felt terrible for her. It did take a while to get refills, food, etc, but I felt like she was trying and maybe it wasn't her fault. The food was decent, not the best Mexican food that I've had. Though I live out of town, I'm not sure I would return even if I lived closer.

Every bite of my plate, I kept saying to myself, "Mmmmmm...fantastic!" Give it a shot yourself if you're in the area.

Love this little place, and make a point of dropping in every time I'm in Winslow. Am a huge fan of authentic Mexican food, and these folks do it up well. Dinner plate prices are from 8 to $12.

I wish they had seafood options! I ordered a vegie burrito and she asked what i want in it! WTF! Its a vegie burrito.. after naming all the toppings ,they still managed to mess it up. Really no rice!!

Well worth the walk from the flying J. The red sauce salsa is awesome... the food is a slightly different style than what I am used to but it was really tasty, had a good kick and was hot and fresh. You can tell they know what they are doing and they care. Will for sure go again when I’m in the area.

We walked in and there was 1 table of 6 taken. She told us it would be about a 20 minute wait, we didn’t realize it meant 20 mins before we ordered our drinks(my dad waited 10 minutes for a refill of water). Two more tables(of 4 or 5 people) came in and she told one of them it would be an hour wait. The salsa tasted like spicy Lunchable pizza sauce, my eggs and chorizo was super bland, and my dad’s soft tacos were not soft at all. And to top it all of, they closed the whole restaurant early.

I had the best sopes, next to my mother's at this place I just happened to stop at on my way through Winslow. My friend had a wet burrito that was also delicious! So so good.

Real red and green chili sauce. Beans were good...not from a can. Ground beef in tacos wasn't paste. We were pleased.
